A legendary figure

It is also worth mentioning the figure – now a legend of Aiud – of the student Valeriu Turtureanu, whom Colonel Crăciun isolated, for his dignified and tough attitude, in a bitter cold, in a cell specially set up for this purpose, with the obvious intention of exterminating him. And if he survived, it was only due to a true miracle.
