Father Mihai Lungeanu, the “composer” of Târgu Ocna
Another “composer” who showed great talent was my classmate Mihai Lungeanu. He had only a basic knowledge of music at the level of a high school graduate. He got more advanced ideas from Adrian Cărăușu, who was more competent in the subject. Mihai would put cotton wool in his ears so as not to be disturbed by noise, and would walk around humming various arpeggios while tapping the beat. Everyone who saw him thought he was a bit crazy and I often laughed at him. He persevered and eventually succeeded. I have a lot of fond memories of Mihai.
