Mircea Vulcănescu, “Prince of the Spirit, whose clairvoyance, subtlety and precision are equalled only by his great heart and his beautiful and noble character” – Letter to Virgil Madgearu
Excellency and dear friend,
I’m happy to say that Miss Elena Văcărescu has just returned to Paris. As always, her time in Prague was a great source of happiness, joy and spiritual delight for us.
I’m really grateful to you for sending me that lovely message. I’d also like to thank Mr. Mircea Vulcănescu for sending me his great collection of abstracts from the Brno Congress, as well as his excellent report on the crisis in the West and its impact in Central, Eastern and South-Eastern Europe.
At the same congress last year, I gave my personal view on the professional value and competence of the young author, who is a remarkable specialist, economist and philosopher. I also commented on his prodigious intelligence, which is one of the liveliest and most gifted to emerge in our era from this corner of our old world, which is already so rich in values and personalities, in phenomena and miracles.
I’m going to refer back to these works, so that I can tell him, on my behalf, how happy I am to have him on the Council for organising the next Conference of Eastern countries. He’s a great guy with a lot of insight, and he’s also very perceptive and precise. Plus, he’s got a big heart and a beautiful, noble character.
Please accept my warmest regards and thanks for your country’s support of our shared mission.
Please also pass along my regards and best wishes to your family.
