“Our suffering was for the highest ideal”

– Don’t get upset, Gicule, if I’m released, what shall I tell your people on your behalf?

– Mihai, what can you say… That our suffering was for the highest ideal. And above all for God. Justice is on our side. We are right. But, God forgive me, it seems to me that it was a bit too much for our strength. But I don’t blame God. It’s only right. But it seems a bit much. That’s it, I’m going to die in peace. I have no regrets.
